Erkado Wiener steel entrance door

The Erkado Wiener steel entrance door is an exterior security door available in Windoza Szeged's range, offered by the manufacturer in 3 panel patterns and up to 18 colours. In our showroom in Szeged you can also view the samples in person before you decide.

The most important point of the home is the entrance, so it is not at all a matter of indifference which entrance door you choose for it. An exterior entrance door has to meet many challenges over many years: weather, external influences, thousands of openings and closings. For Erkado entrance doors, however, none of these is a problem.

Features of the Erkado Wiener steel entrance door

A truly high-quality entrance door has a complex layered construction inside. The outer covering is 0.6 mm galvanised steel sheet with a PVC covering, which resists corrosion and the weather for many years. The inner frame is a combined (wood-steel) structure. Stability is provided by several elements together:

• rigid door leaf construction
• multi-point locking
• heat-insulating filling core
• circumferential seals

As standard it comes with three 3D-adjustable hinges, four anti-lever pins and a three-point locking lock, and the threshold is a thermally broken aluminium threshold. According to the manufacturer, the protection level of Erkado steel entrance doors meets the RC2 standard for every product.

The heat-insulating, PU-foam-filled core helps the entrance door to have truly low heat loss. With Erkado you can achieve several thermal insulation values, depending on where the product is going:

• THERMO HOT 88 – 88 mm leaf thickness, Ud = 0.60 W/(m²K)
• THERMO HOT 78 – 78 mm leaf thickness, Ud = 0.63 W/(m²K)
• THERMO 78 – 78 mm leaf thickness, Ud = 0.64 W/(m²K)
• THERMO 64 – 64 mm leaf thickness, Ud = 0.77 W/(m²K)

Even in the worst case an Erkado steel entrance door offers a thermal transmittance of 0.77 W/(m²K), meaning even the THERMO 64 type can be chosen for a passive house. The glazed version is attractive to many because it lets light into the hallway, and thanks to the multi-layer glazing there is no loss in thermal insulation either: in the glazed models multi-layer glass is installed, the spacers are thermal-bridge-free, and the panel construction has the same thermal insulation value as a solid panel.

The other great advantage of the steel surface is its high resistance: it tolerates UV exposure and precipitation well, also provides greater protection against mechanical stress, and is less vulnerable if something knocks into it.

The Wiener family is available in 3 panel patterns (Wiener 1–3), each selectable from the manufacturer's colour palette: anthracite and black shades, grey, white, as well as oak, walnut and pine decors. With the model and colour selector above you can immediately see how the door looks in the chosen colour, and request a quote for the chosen combination directly through the form. For some patterns the manufacturer also offers a 2 mm thick, subtle 3D-effect LABEL BLACK or LABEL INOX decorative panel.

Available sizes:

80N, 80, 90N, 90, 100, made to measure. For custom sizes the width can be ordered between 770 and 1210 mm and the height between 1800 and 2480 mm, in 10 mm steps (including the frame).
