Thanks to an innovative manufacturing technology, the interior doors are edge-film free. The secret of STILE doors lies in the frame technology, which delivers not only durability but a true work of art. The edge-film-free design is not only aesthetic but also revolutionary in terms of practicality. You can forget the problems that come with edge-protection films, as our doors are produced without edge film and withstand even the hardest knocks. In lively homes, STILE doors serve as a long-term investment, keeping their original beauty and flawless condition.

MDF is an English acronym for Medium-Density Fibreboard. The term refers to boards made of wood fibres and adhesive, pressed together under high pressure. MDF is extremely popular in furniture making and interior door production because it is a solid, homogeneous material that is easy to work with.

With rebated doors, the edge of the door leaf has a rebate that closes onto the frame. If I open the door towards me, the hinges are visible when standing in front of the door. With rebate-free doors, also known as flush-closing doors, the edge of the door leaf has no rebate, so a smooth, even edge is visible that closes not onto the frame but into it. In this case, if I open the door towards me, the hinges are hidden, so the door leaf and the door frame run in the same plane.

It's not a complicated question: stand on the side of your door from which you can see the hinge. Which side do you see it on? On the left? Then you have a left-hand door.

The starting point of Greko foil is a high-density, resin-free Japanese base layer. This makes the foil environmentally friendly and harmless to health, people and the environment alike during production, use and recycling. Greko foil is free of formaldehyde and other harmful substances. Greko foil is therefore a perfect choice from the point of view of sustainability and health awareness.

ST CPL foil consists of two layers: a resin-impregnated decorative layer and a lower layer that provides flexibility. During lamination the upper (resin) layer is hardened, resulting in high scratch and wear resistance. The foil is extremely resistant to impacts, wear and scratches, and it also withstands high temperatures and UV radiation very well.

The base of Premium foil is polypropylene (PP), a material that boasts extremely high wear and scratch resistance while delivering excellent visual value. This foil gives door leaves a noble appearance and a unique profile, faithfully reproducing the pattern of natural wood. Premium foil is extremely scratch-resistant, thus providing strong protection for the door surface.

For matt-coloured, wood-grain-free foils the manufacturer applies an “Antifinger” coating, which provides effective protection against fingerprints, so the foil surface is easy to keep clean.

The wrap-around frame is a structural element that covers and closes off the thickness of the wall opening on both sides. This means it provides a neat and functional finish even if the wall is uneven.

Modern interior doors are usually installed in the final phase of construction or renovation. This timing is chosen because these doors require no additional masonry work and are fitted after the painted interior has been completed.
